Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at coach@livingcomfortable.life if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Financial coaching is a process in which a coach helps individuals identify and achieve their personal financial goals. The coach works with the client to create a plan of action and provides support and guidance throughout the process.

Financial coaching can help individuals improve their self-awareness, develop new money skills, create a plan for achieving their goals, and overcome obstacles that may be holding them back from financial success.

Financial coaching sessions can vary in length, but typically last between 30 minutes to an hour. The frequency of sessions can also vary depending on your personal needs.

When the owner of Living Comfortable first started telling her friends and family that she wanted to help people by offering financial coaching services, the first question that was always asked, was, "If people have money problems, how are they supposed to pay for a financial coach?"  The answer was simple!  Offer a service that enables clients the ability to uncover, save, or earn more than the cost of financial coaching.

You may need a financial coach if you can relate to anything in this list:

  • I just have to make it until pay day.
  • I will never be able to afford my own house.
  • There is no point to putting money in my savings account, it doesn't make anything anyway.
  • I wish I could buy a car with cash instead of always financing.
  • I make good money, so why do I struggle to pay my bills?
  • The rich get richer and the poor get poorer!
  • I need a vacation but who can afford that?
  • I can't afford health insurance so I will skip going to the doctor.
  • My credit score will never get higher than 650, only the rich have better scores.
  • I don't need a 401k anyway, it takes too much money from my paycheck.
  • My bills are paid so I don't need a budget.
  • My parents never taught me about finances and I didn't learn it in school either.
  • I can get an extension from the electric company so I will buy what I want today and pay them next week.
  • If I pay all of my bills, I won't have money left over to have fun.
  • I will never be able to leave my job to open that new business I want to do so bad.
